Anna is a die hard proponent of spaces of intersection. Her lifelong interest within Cultural Studies and its pragmatic application naturally led her to BoominGroup where business is a force for good. She was born in the Philippines, raised in Vallejo, California, and spent her undergrad years at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo where she received her Bachelor's degree in International Business. After working as a marketing specialist in the financial markets for 3 years, she taught English in Brasil and shifted gears towards managing programs in education. She received her Masters in Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London where she explored Fictitious Capital and Postmodernity. Her solopreneur projects have included program management for small businesses, and English language coaching for Japanese executives. Today she continues to chase her passion for writing, language, culture, and slow travel. All whilst drinking coffee and raising her beautiful daughter.
